How long will my repair take?
Each repair is different and so the length of time required differs too. We ask that you allow us up to 4 hours to ensure our technician has sufficient time to complete the job.
How do I get a quote?
It's simple. Either give us a call, drop us an email or click the 'Get a Quote' link up above in the menu bar. We'll get back to you and you tell us what you need.
How do I make payment?
After booking your appointment, we ask that you pay a 10% deposit - this is 10% of the agreed quote. We will then take the rest of your payment via our portable card machine once the job has been completed, approved by you and signed off.
Will you need the keys to my vehicle?
Yes, we will need access to your vehicle as some jobs require the doors to be opened to mask off the vehicle. Also, some vehicles are fitted with an alarm system that may be activated whilst repairs are being carried out.
Do I need to be present for the whole repair?
No, you can carry on with your day as normal. We just ask that you are present for the start of the repair and at the end for approval, sign off, final payment and for us to hand your vehicle back.
Do I need to know the colour of my vehicle?
No. Using cutting edge technology, we'll get your paint colour code directly from your vehicle and enter it into our software which gives us a formula. We can then mix your paint on-site.
What if it's raining on the day of my booking?
Rain shmain. The weather is no problem as all repairs are carried out inside our bodyshop or on your drive under our Base & Lacquer canopy.
Is the repair guaranteed?
Yes, we are that confident in our technician's level of work that we offer a Guarantee that lasts for as long as you are the vehicle's registered keeper.
Can I drive my vehicle as soon as the repair is done?
Yes, you can drive your vehicle away with no issue. However, we recommend you read (and adhere to, of course)the following aftercare advice:-
Your vehicle can withstand all expected UK weather conditions after the repair, however, we recommend that for the 48-hours following the repair you do not use mechanical car washes or harsh chemicals on your vehicle. If washing is a necessity, you can hand wash using a mild wash and wax 12-hours after the repair completion. After a full 7-days, the repaired area will be fully cured and can be polished.
What does S.M.A.R.T stand for?
S.M.A.R.T is an acronym for 'Small and Medium Area Repair Technique' which is a method of cosmetic bodywork repair. S.M.A.R.T repairs are a cheaper and more time efficient way of repairing a range of problems including dents, bumper scuffs and scratches. Don't be put off by the low price, however - a low price doesn't mean you'll get a low quality repair, S.M.A.R.T repairs are just cheaper to carry out. There’s no need to pay for the whole side of your vehicle’s body panels to be painted because of a dent in your door or a scratched bumper!
How big can the damage be?
How long is a piece of string??...
Drop us a picture (or two) of the damage, and we'll let you know if we can repair it for you.
